Just discovered this site, and the the video clip of Michael Brecker on practicing. Your blog is great! I’m bookmarking it. And the interview with Michael is priceless–thank you for sharing it. It’s nice to know that, as incredible a player as Brecker was, he still had to work hard to master new material. I draw encouragement from that, and an example of the highest caliber.

Oh, while technically this site runs on BLOG software, it is really open to user submissions. You can write something and if I think it is interesting, it will end up on the site. I used to run Slashdot’s software, but they are sooo behind with updates, and in their own little world that I decided to ditch it for something more modern.
